​God Approves of You!

Nobody knows you as well as God does. Yet even though He knows everything about you, including all of your faults, He still approves of you and accepts you. God sees your heart, not just the exterior shell (the flesh) that seems to get you into so much trouble. He does not approve of your wrong behavior, but He is committed to you as an individual. God can hate what you do and yet love you. He has no trouble keeping the two separated.

God never intended for you to feel bad about yourself. He wants you to know yourself well and yet accept yourself. You must be able to say, “I can love what God can love. I don’t love everything I do, but I accept myself because God accepts me.” God is changing you daily. Ask Him to help you accept and love yourself in spite of your imperfections.

Mark 6:31-32 ~ “Then, because so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat, he said to them, ‘Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.’ So they went away by themselves in a boat to a solitary place.”

I have a deep desire to create happiness for people around me.  I love to cook, share and entertain people no matter the setting.  It looks like I am a social “butterfly” but the flip side of me is the extream #introvert.  It is never scheduled, it is not circumstancial it is JUST WHAT IT IS!  Me.  I need to be in a silent still space…no TV, music, and basically no noise.  I will text, email, write, blog and nap for several days.  Until today, I felt guilty for going into my cacoon.  Today I decided to embrace it.  I need time to nurture myself – it makes the world a better place when I can take care of ME the way I need to be taken care off…and only I can do what I need for ME.

There is a GIFT inside of everyone.  This gift is your PURPOSE!  It is why God created you.  It is what the world needs and only you have it!!  Let it shine!  Let it soar!! Let it BE!!  It is not about being on stage like T.D. Jakes, on radio like Steve Harvey, on TV like Oprah.  Your gift looks good on YOU – like YOU!!

I’ve been told my smile changes the atmoshpere in a room – don’t let anyone tell you to smile like me…smile your own smile in your own time for your own reasons!!  I need you to be just the way GOD made you…Just BE the best YOU, you can be today!!

Light travels faster than sound…They will see you before they hear anyone else!
